Portfolio

Proven in Practice

Real-world systems, production deployments, and long-term software solutions across embedded devices, streaming, Linux infrastructure, Android, and business applications.

This portfolio is not a complete archive of past work. It is a representative selection of systems, products, and platforms that demonstrate the technical range behind algoNOVA-IT’s services.

Products and Platforms

Android TV Web Browser / Digital Signage

Radiant Browser

A lightweight Android web browser designed for TV screens, set-top boxes, kiosk-style use, and controlled display environments.

Radiant combines Android WebView, TV-friendly navigation, local settings, and optional startup behavior for signage-style deployments.

It provides a simple, controlled way to display web content on Android TV devices without depending on a large general-purpose browser or cloud-managed platform.

Product / Public release planned

Cross-Platform C++ Framework / Internal Platform

ACPL

A long-running C++ application framework used as the foundation for server, desktop, web, and system-level software across multiple platforms.

ACPL provides reusable building blocks for data structures, strings, I/O, networking, database access, web applications, and platform abstraction.

It allows complex customer-specific software to be built on a stable, familiar foundation instead of starting every project from scratch.

Internal platform / Public release planned

Embedded, Android, and Device Software

Android Firmware / Set-Top Box Integration

STB Firmware

Custom Android firmware work for set-top boxes across Android 6, Android 9, and Android 11 based device platforms.

The work includes platform adaptation, system integration, hardware support, application preloading, device configuration, and long-term maintenance of deployed firmware images.

This experience is especially valuable where Android devices need to behave like reliable managed appliances rather than consumer electronics.

Customer project / Long-term platform work

Android IPTV Player / WebView Portal UI

Android IPTV Player

A native Android IPTV player with a WebView-based user interface and a JavaScript bridge for rapid portal development.

The architecture separates playback and device integration from the portal layer, allowing customer-specific TV interfaces to be developed using familiar web technologies.

This makes it easier to build branded IPTV portals while still retaining control over native playback, remote-control behavior, and device features.

Customer project / Product foundation

Streaming, Media, and Distribution Systems

Streaming Infrastructure / VoD / DVB Gateway

VoD and DVB Gateway

A media gateway system for video-on-demand, near-video-on-demand, DVB live sources, stream processing, and distribution into IPTV environments.

The system bridges broadcast-style inputs and managed IP delivery, including live gateway functionality, media preparation, and integration with client playback systems.

It demonstrates practical experience with real streaming deployments where reliability, timing, recovery, and compatibility matter continuously.

Customer project / Streaming platform

STB Management / Hospitality TV Platform

TV Cloud

A management platform for Android-based set-top boxes used in hospitality and managed TV environments.

TV Cloud combines device-side software, server-side gateway components, deployment workflows, remote management, diagnostics, and operational tools for maintaining STBs in the field.

The platform helps operators manage deployed devices more reliably, recover from problems faster, and reduce manual maintenance work.

Customer project / Management platform

Linux, Infrastructure, and Business Applications

Backend Gateway / Portal Integration

PortalGateway

A backend gateway system connecting portal applications, device software, customer-specific workflows, and operational infrastructure.

PortalGateway provides the integration layer between user-facing interfaces and the underlying services, handling communication, data exchange, and deployment-specific business logic.

It represents the kind of pragmatic middleware often needed to turn separate components into a coherent production system.

Product foundation / Infrastructure component

Linux Point-of-Sale / Business Application

EuroTill

A Linux-based point-of-sale application originally developed under the name EuroTrgovec for retail and business use.

The system combines user-facing application logic, local data handling, hardware integration, reporting needs, and operational reliability in a practical business environment.

EuroTill demonstrates experience building complete business applications where everyday usability and dependable operation are more important than technical novelty.

Legacy system / Business application

What These Projects Have in Common

The common thread is practical engineering: systems that had to run in real environments, integrate with existing infrastructure, and remain maintainable over time.

Many of these projects combine low-level software, networking, deployment, diagnostics, and user-facing functionality. That combination is central to algoNOVA-IT’s work.
