These are not used for their own sake, but to create evidence. They help show where time is lost, where synchronization breaks down, where resources are misused, or where assumptions in the code no longer hold.
This is especially important in embedded systems, Linux environments, Android platforms, multimedia software, and performance-sensitive applications, where small technical details often have system-wide effects.
Working with difficult codebases
Many real-world problems appear in systems that are already in use. The code may be old, insufficiently documented, developed by multiple parties, or shaped by years of practical compromises. In such situations, analysis must also reconstruct context: what the system is trying to do, why certain decisions were made, and where the current structure limits further change.
This kind of work requires patience and technical judgment. The objective is not only to fix the immediate issue, but to leave the system in a clearer and more manageable state than before.

One of the most valuable outcomes of good analysis is confidence. Customers quickly notice when difficult issues are handled with structure rather than improvisation.
